Yep, at long last, my camera has a charged battery and another spare charged battery
for when the first one runs out!
So, be warned, this post is going to be picture heavy! (You can click on the pics to make them bigger)
New Books.
Japanese Craft Books.
New Mary Englebreit Magazine, and the bag that I made.
See the table and chairs? That's the bargain set I got from Tescos.
Some new fabric. I love the print with the cats. It's an Alexander Henry fabric.
While I was in the bedroom taking the pic of the fabric, I thought you might like to see the view from the window.
Here's Nibbler in his favourite place. I have to keep pushing him off my keyboard. I often come back to the pc to see he's brought up the *Find* window, and typed in something like "xxxxxxxxxxfkdsfepgorgk"! Or otherwise I find a box asking if I want to turn caret browsing on. Whatever caret browsing is.
And Pixel, caught as he was about to annoy the fish, hence the guilty look on his face!
Well, that'll do for now. Next post, I'll show you some of my latest thrifted finds.

Lovely photos! The cat fabric is a must-have one! You bought a pile of inspiration and the view from the room is gorgeous!
Oooh loverly, it's so good to see your photos back up again. I'm drooling over the books...and the bag(that's Ikea fabric I spy). Cats just don't care where they lounge do they? Mine can be found in the strangest places....
Nicolette, the cat fabric is lovely isn't it? I only bought a FQ, but I need to get more!
Gill, yup, you're right about the Ikea fabric. I've still got a little left that I'm going to use to make a cushion cover, and the odd bits left over from that will be made into pincushions or lavender sachets.
the cat fabric is nice but your pussy cat is beautiful:)
I have the Japanese apron book. I love aprons...
what a gorgeous view!
And how lucky to have the Japanese craft books!
LOL, I have that white fabric with the flowers on it too!
We have a little black cat that Michelle brought home from the shelter. It used to sleep on the monitor before we got a flat screen. Now, she climbs the mountain of yarn storage boxes and sleeps up there.
I *love* the bag you made. Adorable and just my style! I had been eyeing that same kitty fabric to make something for a friend.
